A resident of Saint Martin for over 25 years, Alain has dedicated his life to boats for decades.
After training in general mechanics and then as a boat shaper, he chose to follow his passion for sailing and set sail for the Caribbean. From the Bahamas to Trinidad, he has developed a solid reputation working on vessels damaged by collisions, groundings, hurricanes, or other major disasters. Over the decades, he has acquired recognized expertise in rebuilding damaged boats, where each intervention demands precision, experience, and mastery of materials.
Following Hurricane Irma in 2017, Alain participated in significant restoration work for charter company fleets and privately owned boats, contributing to the reconstruction of numerous sailboats and catamarans.
